GREETINGS!!! Good Fight of Faith Evangelist Ministries (GFOFEM) is a 501(c)3 Tax Exempt Faith Based Community Non-Profit Organization located in White Plains, MD, Charles County. The GFOFEM Communiity Resource Center is located at 4470 Southern Business Park Drive, White Plains, MD 20695. It is through the support of our affiliations & collaborative partnerships with the Southern Maryland Food Bank (SMFB), Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Washington, Maryland Food Bank (MFB), God's Way Family Ministries, Inc (GWFM) and Retail Partnerships with Food Lion Stores in Waldorf & Bryan's Road that we have been able to establish, maintain and expand our community outreach services throughout Southern Maryland since November 2022. This year we are excited to add to those collaborative efforts A.K.A Ivy and Pearls of Southern Maryland Inc, 6 partner churches, 2 Senior Citizen apartment buildings, 2 Elementary Schools and the University of Maryland SNAP-ED Program. We are truly GRATEFUL for our many Faithful GFOFEM International Payerline donors and Partners who have supported our efforts on a continual basis for the past 13 years. PROGRAM INFORMATION & SERVICES: The Good Fight of Faith Evangelist Ministries (GFOFEM) is a 501(c)3 Tax Exempt non-profit organization located in Southern Maryland Charles County.
The GFOFEM non-profit organization was established in the state of Arizona in 2012, and the 501(c)3 non-profit organization was incorporated in the State of Maryland in 2019.
OUR MISSION: is to foster (encouraging and promoting) the standards of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) by providing Social Services that are provided within the Community and accessible to all.
OUR VISION: is to be a visible resource within the underserved and food insecure communities of Southern Maryland by providing services to individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness, hunger and mental health challenges.
OUR GOAL: is to increase our number of partnerships and combine collaborative efforts with as many FOR PROFIT and non-profit organizations who provide a continuum of resources that complete the cycle of restoration beyond what our services provide. Those additional resources/ Services would include but are not limited to; Affordable Housing Services for working familes, and Emergency & Transitional Housing (Rapid Rehousing) for families who are experiencing homelessness.
Behavioral Health Services, employment services and re-entry progams and opportunities for those who have been incarncerated, or with loss of income over a extended period of time.
One of our primary GOALS & FOCUS is to provide services that will assist with healing the entire individual by being the common denominator that plays a key role in adjusting a portion of the economic systemic imbalance in the many diverse cultures throughout the Southern Maryland region.
The GFOFEM Community Resource Center is located at 4470 Southern Business Park Dr. This facility houses our Food Pantry, Clothing Closet, and business office of one of our Principle Partners; Maryland Psychiatric Care (MPC).
Our many services are supported through collaborative partner efforts, in-kind donors, County & State grants, community businesses and personal sponsors.
Monthly distributions for the Food Pantry are held every 2nd & 4th Saturday from 12:00 noon to 3:00pm, these are our regularly scheduled days and times for community distribution. However, whenever possible, we can assist with EMERGENCIES.
